NPower PA's Tech Volunteer Day, "Stop the Spyware!" was held November 12, 2004. 16 companies participated with a total of 72 volunteers deployed to 28 different non-profits in the region. Volunteers and nonprofit representatives gathered at NPower's office in center city (despite cold, driving rain and horrendous traffic jams) and then fanned out to the nonprofits' offices. About half the volunteers returned to center city for an end-of-day reception and "awards" ceremony at el fuego. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and their supportive employers and to the nonprofit reps who also had to take a day away from their regular work responsibilities.
